In early 2015, Blake won the Stars of the Industry Banquet Employee of the year Award for the entire state of Alaska. He was also involved Directly with the planning and preparation of the first and second annual Beer and Bacon Festival in 2013 & 2014. In 2012, Blake planned, participated, and finished in the Crack the Curse cancer walk 2012 which raised over $30,000.
